A Delhi-based non-public laboratory, Dr Dangs Lab, has claimed that it has been chosen because the central lab for human scientific trials of Covaxin, India’s indigenous COVID-19 vaccine candidate. The vaccine is being developed and manufactured by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Analysis (ICMR) and the Nationwide Institute of Virology(NIV) Pune.

Dr. Dangs Lab stated on Wednesday that it has partnered with Bharat Biotech for conducting the trials.
