The Union Cupboard on Wednesday authorised improvement of Reasonably priced Rental Housing Complexes for city migrants and poor as a sub-scheme underneath the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-City, the federal government stated.

As a part of the scheme, current vacant government-funded housing complexes will probably be transformed into Reasonably priced Rental Housing Advanced (ARHC).

An expenditure of Rs 600 crore is estimated within the type of “know-how innovation grant”, an official spokesperson stated on Twitter after the Cupboard assembly.
