Defence Research Body Develops Fully Indigenous P7 Heavy Drop System

DRDO has developed P7 Heavy Drop System which is able to para dropping army shops as much as 7-ton weight class from IL 76 plane.

This method is totally indigenous and being manufactured by L&T who makes the platform system, parachutes manufactured by Ordnance Manufacturing facility, DRDO stated.

This method has been made beneath the Make in India programme.
