The town and its suburbs are witnessing heavy rain for the final 24 hours and the depth elevated early morning as we speak.Because of the steady downpour, water-logging has been reported in some low-lying areas and visitors is being diverted. Average to heavy rainfall has been forecast by the climate workplace for the day.

The Colaba climate station recorded over 60 mm rainfall whereas Santa Cruz recorded 100 mm within the final 24 hours, in line with the climate bureau.
