A key aide of 1993 Mumbai blasts case convict Abu Salem who labored in his unlawful property enterprise in Delhi-NCR has been arrested by the Particular Job Drive (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police, officers stated on Thursday.

Gajendra Singh, who was additionally near gangster Khan Mubarak, was arrested in Mumbai late Wednesday evening by the Noida unit of the STF, they stated.

“Gajendra Singh had taken Rs 1.80 crore from a Delhi-based businessman in 2014 in a property-related case. When he was pressured to return the cash, Singh had Khan Mubarak’s shooters open fireplace on the businessman in sector 18 of Noida,” Further Superintendent of Police, STF, Raj Kumar Mishra stated.

The businessman was in his automotive when the assault occurred, and he narrowly escaped, the officers stated.

Mr Mishra stated Singh had paid the shooters Rs 10 lakh, and the company has cracked the cash path of the transaction.

“Gajendra Singh additionally invested Abu Salem and Khan Mubarak’s cash into properties in Delhi-NCR,” the officer added.
