Madhya Pradesh minister Kamal Patel has demanded a CBI probe towards Congress chief Kamal Nath for allegedly “favouring imports from China” when he was the Union commerce minister.

The state agriculture and farmers welfare minister informed reporters on Friday that he has written a letter on this regard to Union Residence Minister Amit Shah.

The Congress has denied the allegation made by the BJP chief towards Kamal Nath, who was the commerce and trade minister within the party-led UPA authorities.

As per media studies, Individuals’s Republic of China had given help to the Rajiv Gandhi Basis (RGF) headed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi amounting to crores.

Reacting to Mr Patel’s demand, state Congress spokesman and media coordinator of Kamal Nath, Narendra Singh Saluja, termed the letter as “deceptive” and an try to “idiot folks”.
