Ministry Of External Affairs Opens 24X7 Helplines For Victims Of Kerala Plane Tragedy

The Air India Categorical plane broke into two after overshooting the runway and falling into the valley

The Ministry of Exterior Affairs on Friday mentioned it was deeply saddened by the Air India Categorical accident in Kerala’s Kozhikode and that its 24X7 helplines are open for these affected by the incident.

Seventeen folks had been killed and several other others had been injured when a Dubai-Calicut Air India Categorical flight with 191 passengers and crew on board overshot the runway and fell right into a valley. The plane broke into two components.

“We’re deeply saddened by the tragedy of Air India Categorical Flight No IX 1344 at Kozhikode,” Ministry of Exterior Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava mentioned in a tweet.
