The previous UP Chief Minister demanded that the responsible have to be punished.

“The tragedy that the our bodies of COVID-19 victims being thrown into trenches in Ballari, Karnataka is the peak of cruelty and an insult to humanity. Although incidents associated to inhuman cruelty with corona sufferers are rampant however responsible of Ballari have to be punished by the state authorities,” Mayawati stated in a tweet.
