Rajasthan Driver Beaten For Not Chanting 'Jai Shri Ram', 'Modi Zindabad'


A 52-year-old auto-rickshaw driver was brutally overwhelmed up after he refused to chant “Modi zindabad” and “Jai Shri Ram” in Rajasthan’s Sikar, the police stated Saturday. Gaffar Ahmed Kacchawa complained to the police that the accused stole his wristwatch and cash, broke his enamel and left him with a swollen eye and accidents on face after he refused to do what they stated.

In line with the First Info Report (FIR), round four am on Friday, Mr Kacchawa was returning after dropping passengers at a close-by village when the 2 males in a automobile stopped him and requested him for tobacco.

Nonetheless, they declined to take the tobacco he provided and allegedly requested him to chant “Modi zindabad” and “Jai Shri Ram“, the police stated.


The 2 males have been arrested inside six hours, the police stated.

On his refusal, they thrashed him with a stick.

Pushpendra Singh, a senior police officer in Sikar, advised information company PTI, “We arrested two individuals on Friday after the grievance was lodged. Preliminary investigation means that the accused misbehaved and thrashed the sufferer drunk.”

The accused have been recognized as Shambhu Dayal Jat, 35, and Rajendra Jat, 30.
