Here Is List Of 101 Defence Items Banned For Import By India

The listing has been ready by the defence ministry after consultations with all stakeholders.

The Defence Ministry will cease the import of 101 objects “past given timeline” to spice up indigenous manufacturing in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mission of Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), Union minister Rajnath Singh stated as we speak.

The listing contains excessive expertise weapon programs like “artillery weapons, assault rifles, corvettes, sonar programs, transport aircrafts, gentle fight helicopters, radars and plenty of different objects”, the centre stated in a press release.

The listing has been ready by the Defence Ministry after consultations with all stakeholders, together with the armed forces, private and non-private business, Mr Singh stated.
