Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav on Tuesday stated satellite tv for pc monitoring of trains has improved effectivity in prepare operations amid coronavirus pandemic.

Amid the pandemic, the Railways has elevated the freight loading site visitors together with the typical velocity of freight trains.

“The freight loading was 3.13 million tonnes on July 27, which is increased than final 12 months for a similar date,” the Railways acknowledged in a launch.

Earlier within the day, Union Minister Piyush Goyal had stated that Railways is making strides in the direction of enhanced freight transportation.
