Calcutta Excessive Court docket Chief Justice TBN Radhakrishnan has mentioned that he would need to be addressed as ‘Sir’ by all judiciary officers in Bengal and Andaman as an alternative of ‘My Lord’ or ‘Lordship’, as was the apply thus far.

In a letter to the district judges and chief judges of decrease courts within the state and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Excessive Court docket Registrar Common Rai Chattopadhyay conveyed the message of the Chief Justice, an official mentioned immediately.
