The NHRC on Wednesday stated it has issued notices to the DGP of Tamil Nadu and SP of Thoothukudi district within the southern state over the dying of a father-son duo allegedly because of torture by police.
The Nationwide Human Rights Fee (NHRC), in a tweet, additionally stated it has sought a report from the cops, which has to “embrace inquest report, autopsy examination report, medical therapy document, magisterial enquiry report and well being screening report of each victims, inside 6 weeks”.
